Quilters Depot

Quilters Depot is a dream come true for Jennifer and Pauline Shushnar. Pauline and her daughter, Jennifer are second and third generation quilters! This special team hopes to share with you their love of quilting and family. They hope to create a family business where everyone is welcome to be a part of their quilting family!

Who is Jennifer Shushnar?

Jennifer Learned to embroider and crochet from her grandmother Mary Antloger when she was still in single digits. Her mom continued the lessons and introduced her to sewing and quilting. Jennifer has a vision to create a quilting store for all people. A place to stop and relax and enjoy the company of their fellow quilters. Jennifer is a graduate of Saint Vincent College and she received her masters from Duquense University. She is an accounting officer in the corporate headquarters and has been there for 12+ years. She is an avid hockey fan and enjoys to read and do other crafts.

Who is Pauline Shushnar?

Pauline grew up in Lawrenceville Pennsylvania. She began her career as a key punch operator. After raising her two kids she returned to work as a secretary at the University of Pittsburgh for over 10 years. She enjoys to do quilting and is an avid red worker.

What” is Quilters Depot ?

Quilters Depot is your store!  Feel welcome, comfortable and at home.  This store is going to be the quilters version of “Cheers” where everyone will know “Your Name” .  Take time to talk to each other, learn from one another, make new friends, and have a good time. The whole family is involved in the store. Even Dad (Phil) can be found at the store doing handy man jobs or even cutting the fabric!

Quilters Depot, as a startup store has a lot to learn. We admit that. Our goal is that our customers and the products that we bring into the store are our number one priority! We may be slow on some stuff but we will try our hardest to make sure that it is your store. We have been doing special orders within limits. We want to bring classes to not only the established quilters/crafters out there, but to try and bring the crafts to the young people out there!

Not only do we offer fabrics and notions. We have patterns, knitting, crocheting, longarming. We are more than just a quilt store!

Bazaar Corner

Crafters can buy and sell their items. If you would llike to sell your crafts  please let us know. Eventually we hope to be able to offer custome quilt making, however that is in the future. We do have a few completed quilts in the store for those who don't quilt but would like one.
